prettytest

prettytest is an extremely simple Golang program (~80 LOC) to have pretty, colored output for Go tests. It takes the exact same arguments as go test, as it's just a wrapper that calls your local go binary.

It's not much prettier, but it retains the exact output from go test, so it's simple and works perfectly with parallel tests. It just colors some lines either green or red, and it adds a ✓ or a ✘ where appropriate.

For example, prettytest ./... -v is equivalent to go test ./... -v.
