Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Go installed on your machine. You can download it from golang.org.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web scraping concepts.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/mustafa-a-khan/restapi.git
    cd web-scraper
    
  2. Install Go dependencies:

    go get -u github.com/gocolly/colly
    
  3. Run the application:

    go run main.go
    

Usage

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080.
  2. Enter the website URL and scraping parameters in the form provided.
  3. Submit the form to start the scraping process.
  4. View the scraped data displayed on the page.
