Getting Started
Prerequisites
- Go 1.20+
- Redis
- PostgreSQL 13+
Setup
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/hawful70/example-social
- Install dependencies:
go mod tidy
- Set up environment variables for Redis and PostgreSQL connections.
- Install Air for hot reloading:
curl -sSfL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cosmtrek/air/master/install.sh | sh
- Run the application:
- Regular mode:
go run cmd/api/main.go
- With hot reload:
air
- Regular mode:
